Many would find the tall man rather strange looking. The black cloak was so old and torn, it was amazing it was still intact. The hood was up as well, hiding the man's face from all view. The cloak didn't hide the fact all too well that he was terribly skinny. Anyone who took a closer look would see that. His gaze went to the sky, watching the clouds pass slowly by.
"Simple yet a strange thing. One hardly notices so many things." Vasil muttered, but if anyone was close enough they would hear.
He just stood there and stared at the sky in silence. The hideout was dark and musty, despite the followers attempts, they couldn't get ride of the stench that would creep into the structure. Considering it's was in the sewers, one could see why it was a failed attempt. Oh well. He folded his arms as a sigh came to him.
"You were suppose to wait upon the gate." Vasil said, his tone neutral.
A woman stood behind him. She was young, most likely twenty-one years old. Her hair was red and her eyes were light brown. She lowered her head a bit as Vasil spoke to her.
"My apologizes Sir. But....I....I was told..." the woman started but Vasil unfolded his arms and she went silent. "The high Priest sent you after me?" his voice still neutral. "Very well, you are alright. No harm done."
"Sir....we shouldn't speak of such things out here."
"And why not? This world is strange and complex, buried inside a shell. All sorts of things exist in one layer. Why can't we talk of things?"

Twitchy was out at local bakery picking up the sweet bread when as he was walking to a local inn to stay the night he saw a creepy guy talking to himself and then a girl. On a whim, he decided to swallow down his sweetbread, and follow the guy for fun. A game he often enjoyed. Occasionally he would find a vampire or bandit on accident and would get a bounty for it. So creepy guys with less creepy girls are definite suspects.

"Please Sir, can't we go?" The woman asked as she stood there.
Vasil sighed as he stood there. The girl was only doing her job, following orders. The High Priest worried too much and that was a problem. He folded his arms as he stood there. However his gaze caught the figure behind them, despite them not moving.
"May we help you Sir?" Vasil asked Twitchy as he stood there.
A scared expression took over the woman's face as she turned and saw Twitchy. Vasil's attention went to her as he put a thin hand on her shoulder and made her stand behind him. True, Vasil didn't like the fact that his followers were always sent to chase him down. But he still cared for them. Not their fault that they were always sent after him. Besides, she was a normal human. He could at least give her some protection.
The woman stood behind Vasil and she grabbed a hold of his cloak as she stood there. She was already trembling, as she peeked out from behind Vasil at Twitchy. She was praying that this stranger would leave them alone.

Twitchy pulled down his hood to reveal his face and purred softly, a sign of peace with khajiiti people, "May I ask what you are doing with that young woman there? And why she is cowering in fear?" He paused for a second waiting for a response but then spoke again, "Sorry, how rude of me, I am Twitchy." And with that he gently bowed and smiled.

"She is an acquittance of mine, we work at the same place." Vasil answered. "I'm not sure why she's afraid, but I think it might be due to how chaotic things have been lately."
Seeing that Twitchy had introduced himself and removed his hood to reveal his face. Vasil raised his hands to his hood. The woman behind him gasped, she came out from behind him and tried to grab his wrists to stop him.
"No!" The woman said in a gasp. "You mustn't."
"It would be rude if I didn't follow suit don't you think?" Vasil said to the woman.
The woman went silent and lowered her hands. Giving a short bow, she moved off to the side. Vasil then removed his hood. Reveal his pale face, short sandy brown hair that had a grey streak on the left side, and the most unusual thing. His right eye was emerald green while his left was sapphire blue.
"I am Vasil Teru." Vasil introduced. "But I mainly go by Vasil."

Twitchy smells the air, "I do not recognize your scent, i was suspicious because it originally smelt of deamon but also of angel, and your appearance is somewhat human, so if it is not prying too much, what race are you? I know the woman behind you is human, she defiantly smells of it." Twitchy took a step forward and noticed the woman's reaction when he did and looked at her to explain, "I am going for a handshake, a sign of trust in these lands, is it not?"

"That is something you don't need to know!" The woman said, however Vasil's hand appeared on her shoulder and she went still.
"Calm yourself, there is no harm in him knowing. None know anymore but you and a few others." Vasil told her, he removed his hand from her shoulder and held his hand out to Twitchy.
"But.....The..." The woman didn't want to say it but Vasil knew what she was speaking of.
"What he doesn't know won't hurt him." Vasil kept his strange gaze on Twitchy as he spoke. "The person I refer to is her boss. I am a Fader, a race that has faded from the knowledge of humans, demons, holy beings such as a angles alike, and everything in between. No one knows about Faders, and no one truly will. Only a small few learn."

"Sounds interesting," Twitchy spoke, his toothy grin flashing, "I would like to know more, is there way I could or would her, err, boss, prevent that?" Twitchy's ears pressed down and his tail was gently whipping back and forth, a sign of submission and eagerness. "Also are either of you hungry? I have some sweetbread with me." Twitchy held out two small buns of the delicious baked good to them.

"I fear it would be best if you didn't know too much. He would most likely become....very displeased. And for the land to be coated with more scarlet crimson, it would be such a horrid sight." Vasil said as he grabbed his hood and put it back over his head. "He will most likely be displeased by the fact that I revealed as much as I did. Oh well. There's not much he can do about it."
The woman just stood there in silence. Upon hearing the offering of a sweetbread, she cocked her head. She didn't know what that was. Vasil laughed lightly and she looked at him.
"What? What's funny?" The woman asked a bit spooked.
"Go ahead and take one. You're a free person, you don't need permission for every little thing." Vasil said, he even gently shoved her over to Twitchy so she could take one. "She's a bit too rule obedient, it's a good and bad thing depending on the situation upon the hand."
"Th...thank you..." The woman stuttered as she nervously took a bun and started to eat it.

"Good isn't it?" Twitchy's sharp teeth came out in a smile again. "Aww, that's no fun though, I'm bored, I need some excitement in this town, aside from being chased out of the park by the cops a lot." Twitchy sighed audibly.

The woman nodded her head as she smiled, still eating the sweetbread bun she held in her hands.
"There is a way for you to learn without risk, but once you learn you'd kind of be stuck like the rest." Vasil said. "Besides, I would prefer not to endanger someone."
"You've got to try this." the woman said as she looked at Vasil, Vasil sighed.
"Why now are you so confident and eager?"
Vasil was about to speak but he went silent. He could hear a set of foot steps coming toward them. Soon, two men in a similar outfit to the one the woman was wearing, only it was a suit appeared. They seemed to be looking around for something and upon seeing Vasil, they seemed relieved and found what they were looking form. A scared expression over took the woman's face and this time she hid behind Twitchy.
"SIR!!" one of the men exclaimed as the two went over to Vasil.

Twitchy watched cautiously as the men approached Vasil, he wanted to know more, but his conscious kept telling him "CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT" But Twitchy just thought that's a aweful cat joke and really racist for him to think, besides there's been no scientific proof that the reason any cat was killed was due to its curious nature. But then again he did say "...you'd kind of be stuck like the rest." which was concerning. Twitchy continued to watch as he pondered upon what to do.

The woman tugged on Twitchy's cloak, trying to get his attention. Once she had she would whisper to him.
"You should go." the woman whispered.
"Sir, we've been worried about you." One of the men said as he came to a stop, however his expression turned to a nervous one.
Vasil stood there, despite having the cloak and hood on. The girl and the two men knew what expression Vasil had. They were all followers of the occult Vasil was trapped in. His teeth were gritted and his bony hands become fists. Rage was obviously consuming him. He had given orders before leaving, he made that stupid High Priest promise. But this.....THIS still happened!!
"What.....are....you...two..." Vasil started, his voice was choked with anger and a demonic tone that sent shivers down the three follower's spines. "What are you two...doing here?"
His hood was brought up a little bit due to his wolf ears appearing. However, they quickly lowered as they would for any wolf that was angry. His teeth were still gritted as he stood there. One could feel how much rage Vasil had in him.
"I.....I gave a specific....order. So why? Why are you two here?" Vasil repeated in the same tone, only for the rage and demonic tone to get stronger.
The woman that was behind Twitchy made a whimper sound as she hide behind him. She was trembling as she stood there and closed her eyes.

Twitchy looked at the Vasil, and saw only his father, his father with unbelievable rage and an addiction to Skooma, his father, the reason he left. He knew what to do, but his mind turned to the seemingly innocent woman behind him. He did not want her to feel the pain he felt and quickly picked her up and ran at least a full block away, enough so he could still see, but enough that he and the woman were safe. Twitchy turned to the woman, "What's happening, Twitchy knows you know." His dialect returning to Khajiiti with his instincts.

The woman was surprised that Twitchy picked her up and took her with him. Once he put her down and asked his question. A shocked and startled expression over took her face. She couldn't go and tell Twitchy about this.
"I...I can't. The...the..." The woman started. "He's not a bad person. He's not a monster or anything!" she was referring to Vasil and his sudden change. "It's just....he's..."
Back with Vasil, the two male followers were dead silent. One attempted to speak but nothing came out.
"Just go. I will be there.....in....a moment." Vasil told them, the two men nodded and ran away.
